Description
When wanting to use evolution as a calendering application, I descovered much to my annoyance, that I was required to put my e-mail address in when setting up. While I know that evolution is mainly an email program, it would be nice to be able to use it without using needing to enter my email information.

Mozilla Sunbird is a nice standalone calendering program... Check it out. Voted +0

I've got Mozilla Sunbird installed, I just think it's silly having to download another application to access functionality that's included by default.

Same here. I think the developers just overlooked this case.

I think sunbird is a better system than evolution too.

the nice thing with evolution is that it integrates that well into the desktop... besides that i like the interface better than sunbird but thats a personal preference.
