Description
Quite often you want to find some files where you don't know the whole name, but several parts of it... with support of regular expressions within nautilus it would be a lot easier to handle that situations!

Hello antragon!

Have you tried clicking Edit->Select Pattern in Nautilus? It can be accesed with Ctrl+S too. You can use * and ? to select files and folders in the current directory, you may find it helpful.

It would be good to be able to use regular expressions, though.

I know that "select", but it is not that mighty as "true" regex is... beside that the select is (as the name says) just to select multiple files... there is no option to mask any files that do not fit or invert the search... etc.
