Idea #218: More simple GUI key gpg repository

Written by domi84 the 28 Feb 08 at 21:22. Related project: Synaptic package manager. Status: New
Rationale
I am a supporter of the GUI.
When adding a repository via GUI and then you have to add a key gpg (always via GUI) is very uncomfortable. We must insert the key link in a browser, download the key to a file and then add the key via GUI.
Here a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUZOQsNo_ws
I apologise for my English (Google helped me;)

Solution #1: Change Authentication tab
Written by domi84 the 28 Feb 08 at 21:22.
I think that is easier to enter the URL in
Authentication tab and automatically it get the key and add it. I do not think it is very difficult to do.

GUI-apt-key is a software that can simply import the keys in Synaptic. Is already in ubuntu repositories.
Integrate "APT Key Manager" in Synaptic.
