Add "Installation Help" guide on the desktop (after choosing "Try Ubuntu")
Written by Vahan Harutyunyan the 1 Oct 10 at 10:24. New
When the new users want to try and then install Ubuntu, it would be useful if on the desktop will be "Installation Help" guide which will help new users understand how to install the Ubuntu.

Solution #1: Add "Installation Help" guide on the desktop
Written by Vahan Harutyunyan the 1 Oct 10 at 10:24.
I suggest to Add "Installation Help" guide on the desktop so new users can get detailed information (with demonstration pictures) about Ubuntu installation. It would be nice if this guide will be have links to online documentation for more information (for example about partitioning, file systems etc.)
Here you can see that what I suggest...

Solution #2: a glossary embedded in the help or install process
Written by DonnyDonNothin the 22 Nov 10 at 15:14.
i think any help given should include a dictionary of terms. kinda like how in wikipedia some words embedded in a paragraph link to that words wiki-page. before i used linux i only knew of pagefiles. had no idea what swap was. i had no idea which filesystem type to use. etc.
however the help is given, videos or weblinks, just keep in mind how bloody annoying that microsoft word 97 paper clip was.
