I know many people who have tried to install Ubuntu to try it out, but it didn't work due to Grub failing to install. Unfortunately they do not know anything about Linux (if they did they could probably fix this on their own), so they couldn't use Ubuntu and had to go back to Windows!!
It would be great to sort of have a 'plan B' for the boot loader installation, because many people are completely repelled from Linux just because of this tiny problem!

Or go with a BETTER SOLUTION: Fixing the bug!
