Contributor lalejand on Totem Movie Player

Since it is the default audio player, why Totem's name is "movie player" ?
Written by lalejand the 14 Oct 08 at 23:19. Not an idea
It should be "multimedia player" or "audio/video player" or "media player" (as mrdoob proposed).
---------------

Rename "Movie Player" to "Totem" or "totem Player" in menus, and titles. The "real" name is fine and I don't understand the reason of changing that anyway....

Solution #5: Call it 'Totem Media Player'

AndrewLuecke mentioned that perhaps just "Totem Player" wouldn't work because many beginners don't know what Totem Player does.
It would be a compromise between calling it the less misleading "Media Player" and using the actual name, "Totem Player".

Delete files on HD from Totem
Written by lalejand the 25 Mar 09 at 23:19. New
Sometimes I have to listen to a lot of audio files and delete some of them. It is quite annoying when I want to delete one because I have to look for the file in nautilus in order to delete it. And Totem does not display the filename.
-------

Solution #1: Add an option "delete from HD" on right click menu
Written by lalejand the 25 Mar 09 at 23:19.
In the playlist, we could do right click on a file and choose an option "delete from HD". Same thing in the "edition" menu (and with a keyboard shortcut)
------
