Add Windows apps for manage Ubuntu Server on Server CD
Written by insulae the 7 Mar 08 at 14:00. Global category: Server. New
many times i am in some places without a GNU/Linux machine (travel, friends home, etc) and i receive a task to do on a server, so i need to download windows applications to do this, like PuTTy, NoMachine NX Client for Windows, etc.
So meaby in the free space of Server CD you can put all this application like Ubuntu Desktop CD.

No Password-Reply ******
Written by GnuShi the 1 Mar 08 at 11:01. Global category: Server. Won't implement
In most graphical applications, whenever some password is required like sudo and during login, the password is echoed like stars ******. Someone, who sits next to can see (yes of course, and hear), how many chars your secret phrase has. It would be better to not echo the number of characters.
