Use neutral color for OpenOffice splash screen

When you boot up open office, an orange-brownish splash scren pops up.
For those of us who hate this colors, it would be better to use a more neutral color like white and grey/black so when you change your theme doesnt look so bad.

Make the "styles and formatting" window like in the OpenOffice.org Novell edition (can drag it to the main OOo window).

I would like to see the option for Recent Documents to appear on the start up splash screen.
When starting Open Office, the splash screen give options for Text Document, Spreadsheet, Open a new document etc. I find more times than not, I am having to go up to the menu to select recent document to open the file I have recently been working on.
Being able to access straight from the splash screen would be useful.
