kde interface for inkscape
Written by Lutz_Ifer the 13 Mar 08 at 18:33. Related project: Inkscape Vector Graphics Editor. Not an idea
Have a KDE interface for "inkscape".

Currently Inkscape is dependant on libcairo, libcairomm, libglib, libglibmm. libgnomevfs, libgtk2, libgtkmm...

P.s.: please make an exception from the usual "k + $name" rule and don't call it "kinkscape" :)

Split evolution in different packages
Written by natureflow the 16 Mar 08 at 18:56. Global category: Office. New
Split evolution into different packages. But the GUI should be the same: A all in one GUI. This has only advantages. E.g. I could use only the mail part if I want.

This is NOT idea http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/idea/2580/.

saves default to text(txt)format, when i open the same file
inside any windows, say xp,it arrears all words like
garbled/scrambled all over the document, also word wrap
should be default enabled.

Provide an antiodf and antipdf tool
Written by Areso the 29 Feb 08 at 14:22. Global category: Office. New
Antiword makes it easy to transform Doc to raw txt. We need the same kind of text extraction tool for ODF and PDF files. As of PDF Evince "text cut" often does not work out as it should when bullet points are involved.
