I think Canonical should have to support and improve 3D projects, in order to jeopardy the Micro$oft DirectX' API.
It's interesting for all 3D games, or other apps.
I hope 3D developpers will be interested, and will migrate to GNU/Linux.

H.264 Decoder with SMP Support up to 4 Cores

In Windows, we have CoreAVC that has this support. But linux doesn't have this yet, which makes it impossible to watch 1080p h.264 content back without the video being jerky due to one core not being able to handle the decoding.
I know Ubuntu uses ffmpeg to do the decoding of h.264 video, but that needs SMP support to compete against Windows and its CoreAVC h.264 decoder. This is something I think MythTV can use too.

Audacity 1.3.5

Not an idea

Add audacity 1.3.5 (beta) to the repositories. 1.3.4 (beta) has an issue with invalid sample rates that virtually renders it useless, and this is apparently fixed in 1.3.5.
Update: A .deb file of Audacity 1.3.5 is now at getdeb, however I still, however, believe that the repositories should be updated with this version.
