Similar to XP, for many users it would really help to see which users are 'available' and then to just click and enter the password. Although it is perhaps a little less safe, it would greatly enhance usability for the users. Also, it would be easier for XP users to get used to the Ubuntu look.

UPDATE
Thanks to the community. Feature was allready implemented (alt+mbr)!
I use Alt+Mousedrag a lot to move windows around in gnome.
I would like to have a feature like this for resizing as well.
Problem is that resizing with the mouse is sometimes a bit tricky (window might be bigger than screen, no task bar to access context menu with right click etc).
For example CTRL+Shift+Mousedrag (or Alt+Rightmousedrag) would work nicely i think, as ctrl and shift are really close to each other and i do not know any application that uses this combo.

For easy transition from mac and windows based systems
prepare %100 look alike ubuntu software downloadable over the internet such that when one downloads either one of them couldn't be able to tell the difference from user interface and performance perspectives, however it is actually an ubuntu system. When students and work people start to use these editions they can add on specific properties and interface options of ubuntu (into windows xp, vista or mac OS look) with one click of a button... By getting used to the add on interfaces of ubuntu, people change smoothly from an apple or pc guy to an ubuntu guy easily...
