This idea is similar to idea about
codec manager
---------------------------------
There are many codecs out there (on the internet) and the most of them are supported by Ubuntu, but some aren't.
The biggest problem with new HD divx codecs - or better any mpeg-4 format.
If not that at least make a default media player more like GOM player which installs you a codec that's missing.
Maybe that just my computer but when my player Kaffeine prompts me if I want to install missing codecs and I press yes nothing happens.
(maybe this is more of a bug report then a real idea.
It's just that this was eating my nerves and casting negative shadow on Linux in eyes of my friend who gave me this film. His comment was thats why Windows is better than Linux. Go back to windows you'll won't have no such problems...)
