Description
It appears that ACPI / Power Mgmt. for Notebooks/Laptops is STILL lacking. There has been one outstanding bug w/Ubuntu that started back around w/Gusty Gibbon that still exist.

Whenever your notebook goes into suspend or hibernate mode you get either the "Black or White Screen of Death" depending on which type of video driver you are using. This happens whenever you resume using your notebook.

Apparently, this problem is not anywhere nearly as bad or as much an issue w/desktops.
