Description
I think it would be a good idea to have an application like add/remove that allows user install software with the simplicity of this programs and have the advanced options and features of Synaptic, so you dont get any message like ''For advanced options use Synaptic Package Manager''. I would be less confusing for a new user (assuming that the user has low knowledge about computers)

Synaptic isn't really advanced, comparing to Adept

meh, the current setup is good enough. I don't see any benefits with this proposal.

Its about simplicity, synaptic is really good, but kind of confusing for new users, so the ideal is to have 1 tool for adding and removing software, not 2, somehow like YaST

For new users, anything with 'advanced' is automatically ignored anyway. :)

It could be done by providing a dialog when trying to do something that requires synaptic. "To do this requires synaptic package manager, a tool for advanced users. Launch synaptic?"
