Idea #11699: Add a "delete file" option in office programs like in image viewers

With a "delete file" option, office programs like Evince, Gnumeric, AbiWord and OpenOffice applications would gain noticeable functionality, allowing users to delete the files he/she is currently viewing, without the need of switching back to file manager, finding the location of the file and deleting it there.

Some image viewers allow users deleting the image file currently being displayed.

This feature in office applications would greatly save the time of users dealing with too many documents simultaneously.
