Help and support basically is good for average user, but when a new user comes and finds it hard to find information on his fingertips,i mean go google search and browse through quiet a huge list of options, sometimes none.
i prefer to say lets integrate online help and make user community into knowledge base where users can share information and developers can also interact with users of ubuntu first,(kubuntu,xubuntu,edubuntu-next)
Integrate forums, launchpad, brainstorm, screencasts, links to youtube channel.More professional looking help system Better guides to setup>>
Basics>>commandline interaction,
Network, sharing files on folders over network
Setting up hardware>>any type(guides)
working with office>>word etc and installing new fonts, templates
Setting up>>mail and chat etc
while basic support system is good and there is no replacement only few enhancements and few more features.because all the information cant be stored on single cd nor on users pc/laptop.
optionallive IRC chat,i have seen live irc into browser where user is given on spot id to chat with developers,i think mediaportal does.so if we can integrate this feature it would be great or integrate irc chat channel into pidgin.

I think it's a good idea. In Windows, there is this help, like "What is the Problem? -> Did you try this n that? Did this solve the Problem? -> ...". Of course it seems quite useless, but sometimes it can really help, especially for unexperienced users. So when people don't care about help, it could be because they don't have problems. And there are more problems and questions in Linux than in Windows...
