A decentralized sync system, similar to Windows Live Mesh would be quite useful for users. Some users use Ubuntu One, not for backup, but for syncing files between computers. This is slow, and unefficient, as it does
Computer 1 -> Ubuntu One -> (Ubuntu One on Computer 2 notices updated file) -> Download to Computer 2.
Instead, with decentralized sync, we can reduce the storage overhead, and the 5GB storage space can be solely used for backup. Here, Computer 1 directly transfers changed files to Computer 2, and vice versa. This allows for a much faster sync.

You can not tell rpcbind to listen to a specific interface for TCP requests. The -h flag provides this functionality for UDP requests only
for those of us who need to mount an NFS client on a machine with a public interface, this is not great. It can be limited using tcpwrappers, or iptables, but I would feel more comfortable if it weren't even listening in the first place.

I use a lot of word processing and spreadsheets, and I do this using Google Docs (now Google Drive). I think that it would be really cool if there was an app (a real app) for Google Services integrated with Unity.
The idea is that when I typed my google data (mail+password) on "online accounts" (settings), google services icons would appear on the launcher, and thus, be able to access to my gDrive, Calendar and gmail very easily.
