Description
I already gave a desktop paradigm idea for Gnome 3 :
http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/idea/8539/

Here is another one, wouldn't it be interesting to look at what can be done using Gnome-Do as a central piece of the desktop? Let's say remove all menus entries, this would make the desktop pretty empty and just use Gnome-Do to browse/run/...

That's a so amazing software.

All ideas about using Gnome-Do are welcome.

Well I I don't know what gnome-do does so I had to search it up at google:
Homr page of Gnome-Do
Ubuntu wiki page on Gnome-Do
Please next time "cite your sources".
Sorry no vote from me, I use KDE. 0

i think GNOME is an interesting piece of technology that nobody really wants to use.

Its too early to vote for Gnome 3 ideas, we'd probably want GTK3 to be completed before Gnome3 is even started

Gnome Do is really just a command line. Commandlines are only really useful to people who know the commands. Just because it has autocompletion, a wider range of commands and things, I still don't think it should be focused on for new users. It is a good project, but only useful to those who know what they are doing.
