Description
Create a cd similar to Debian's netinstall CD but add a new menu options screen for the selection of installing Ubuntu Server, Ubuntu Workstation, Kubuntu, Edubuntu, Gobuntu, Xubuntu. You only need a small base install then you can pull the debs from you local or remote mirror.

Only problem with the MinimalCD is that it's difficult to find on the Ubuntu site. (But it worked like a charm!)
