Idea #9702: Drag and Drop main menu editing

Written by Redrazor39 the 9 Jun 08 at 22:42. Category: Look and Feel. Related project: Nothing/Others. Status: New
Rationale
But not like you drag the item and it shows a stupid little line of where it's going to go. Make it so the other items slide and make room, much like adding a launcher to AWN or rearranging tabs in the Safari Web Browser for Windows or Mac. That sliding effect is more important than most think; it adds a 1up to Ubuntu by making it look "more complete" and "smarter". Logically, it's nothing. Psychologically, it's everything.

I've always liked Windows XP for this option.
