Description
Some people might not know that their processor supports a 64-bit OS. With an information page, it would be easer for them to download the best version for their processor. This page could include: How to tell if I can run 64-bit Ubuntu, The advantages and disadvantages of 64-bit, etc.
We need to have more people aware of 64-bit computing.

As much as companies market their products as being 64-bit capable, I find it difficult to imagine that someone who is using such a system would not know, unless they have not been paying attention to the point that they have no idea what kind of processor they are running, and probably are completely ignorant of many of their other hardware details.
As 64 bit support has not, in my opinion, stabilized to the point of being end-user ready, I believe this is premature.
-0, only because I cannot later change my vote when we get to a point in time when we are ready for this.
