This program is useful but I'm not sure it could be in repository.
Maybe Universe?

olskar wrote on the 8 Jun 08 at 21:38
It should be added in the repos yes. However I do not like the way that project is going..youtubedownloader? Nice, sure..but not in a program like that..It doesnt fit in and make the program look bloated.

Also it does not use GTK I think?

Auzy wrote on the 9 Jun 08 at 01:28
How well does it integrate? Ideally we should be able to double click an ISO and mount it

I fell in love when you said daemon tools.

GPLv3, incredibly useful, It would be freaky not to see it in the repos.

It really hurts me to see this great application missing from the repository.

Well, this isn't the place to post if you want software in the repos. File a bug at bugs.launchpad.net for "needs-packaging" with regards to this software.

That said, it sounds nice, and I'll have to try it when I get home. But between Brasero and Gmountiso, I can do most things I need done.

Thanks for the advice!
i have filed the bug at bugs.launchpad.net for inclusion in the Ubuntu repository. It is Bug #238577

Yeah! That's what I want and that's what I need.
I voted before, but didn't read the entire list so I haven't noticed that it also supports UDF which I would really need.
So I really hope this comes soon.

I voted +1, off course.

I hope it's using QT.

Nice piece of software, but already - bloatware. unless maintainers refine it, and make it an IMAGE/MOUNT/CREATE/CONVERT tool, im

Rip a psx1 game? wtf?

This should go to http://launchpad.net/ubuntu, brainstorm is the wrong place!

Please use the procedure described at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDevelopment/NewPackages for requesting and creating new packages for inclusion in the repositories.
