Description
It would be good if computer resellers and other computer companies could apply to be an Ubuntu Premium Service propro

Some of our requirements could be:
- Online testing & training of 2 employees minimum required every distro upgrade release. This ensures there are people who are trained who know the improvements and advantages. This is a basic test
- One Provider specific test. Companies offering programming services should be tested with basic coding questions, education and server providers, on Ubuntu server, etc. This ensures the staff do know about the topic they are trying to provide.
- Providers must offer full support for their products for Ubuntu, and try to ensure their products work with updated releases within 1 month of release
- Resellers have to maintain at least 1 computer that can be preinstalled with Ubuntu before sale. If additional drivers are required, they should be provided on a OEM copy of ubuntu.

Benefits for them:
- CD's and advertising posters/materials are automatically sent to resellers, so they can advertise the new OS being released (as Apple does with their resellers). Gets the hype up
- Better channel of support from Canonical/Ubuntu.
- Advertising under ubuntu's webpage for premium providers. For resellers, that may generate a lot of extra ubuntu sales. For providers, they may snap up a lot of large companies.

This system has worked very successfully for Apple, and will help highlight people who actively promote/sell ubuntu. It also ensures that those who actively promote ubuntu have the marketing material they need to build up hype.
