Rationale
Ubuntu Is rumored to be creating an ultra portable flavor of Ubuntu called, "Net Book Remix".

Once this software is released Ubuntu should create and release something similar to the Eee pc but run this new flavor of Ubuntu instead.

I don't think that Canonical have the resources to do this.

Though if they could do it, and it would give them money, then this would be cool.

It's a poor idea, not only they don't have the money to setup a business of this sort it will distract them from their primary business.

It would be better to have a hardware database that will recommend certain products over others.
