In addition to the "enhance mobile devices sync" idea: in general, it is hard to establish a connection between ubuntu and most mobile devices (this goes for some mp3players, allmost all cellphones, and especially for the fast growing number of (windows)smartphones). It is often complicated or just impossible to exchange data (mp3, movies, documents etc) and agenda functions, whether it is via a cable or bluetooth.
It would be very nice if Ubuntu would react the same way to mobile devices as windows vista does (its a miracle; the first advantage of the OS!): plugging in the cable or turning on bluetooth pops up a dialog with 3 options:
1. synchonize agenda (evolution/firefox),
2. exchange data (mp3s, photos, movies) or
3. use the phone as a wireless modem.
The smartphone market is growing enormously at the moment; ubuntu should be prepared for it as it becomes a more and more important device for lots of people.
