This could be pretty cool that when using default wallpaper it changes to different a color tonality according the time of the day, what do you people think?

There is an old DOS game - Dune - where the sky and colors are changing according to the time of day. It's beautiful.

Actually, there is a dreamscapes thing done by the windowsblinds guys for vista that does it

In OSX, you can do it with quartz easily.

Its a good idea though.. so +1

Not a bad idea, but I'd rather see a new piece of software supporting "dynamic backgrounds", which would change gradually during the day.

For example having a sun move over your screen during the day, changing lightning and shadows on its way. Now *that* would be a nice desktop background ;)

A bit "Johnny Castaway"-ish.
