What? I understand to the part about Live CD / DVD, but after that everything becomes incomprehensible for me. Ok I get that something is easy as pie but I don't know what that might be.
I will not vote down you're idea just yet, it might be perfectly sensible idea, but make it more comprehensible for everyone.

Please, use better English.
Does not Ubuntu work on Intel x86 Mac's?
I think it should... I hope it does...

Installing Ubuntu Hardy on a Mac works quite well, but the experience could be enhanced somewhat by:
(1) suggesting to install the rEFIt boot manager (http://rEFIt.sf.net/)
(2) allowing the user to repartition the hard drive during installation (this involves support for resizing HFS partitions)
(3) making wireless networking work out of the box
(4) supporting the nifty hardware features like the "sudden movement sensor" (to park hard drives when you drop the machine), ambient light detector and keyboard backlight (e.g. MacBook Pro), etc. (I don't actually know what the status is on this issue, but I don't think this works at this time)

Bertvv, there are ideas out there to improve motion sensing..
Mac's use Broadcom and atheros wireless cards, so even non-apple people suffer issues with it. There are ideas for that too
And yeah, resizing, nothing yet.
Voting for Grub2 may help too http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/idea/8143/

Ubuntu cannot be installed directly in mac - intel, must be used a trick by means of a software to start, its name is refit. My proposal is a distribution that does instalació automatic, including refit

carsses, refit isn't the best solution though (I have used it in the past, and it has some SERIOUS issues). Better Grub2. Its a generic solution to the problem

Thank, Auzy.
I think, I only want install and run Ubuntu in my macbook coreduo, yet. I do not want to think about your bootloader.
