Description
I would like Brainstorm to see a possibility of translation into various languages, for example: Spanish, French, Italian, ..
Or at least the most common or more users of GNU/Linux,Ubuntu.
Thanks.

Imagine all the duplicate ideas, moderation and effort?
People should learn English or go hide behind a rock.
The modern civilized world talks English, the ones who don't are stone age primates from the past.

Hopefully just like launchpad and Ubuntu itself same thing will happen to brainstorm, it will be translatable. I just waiting for the go ahead to start translating.
Based on the same principles of Ubuntu that software should be in one`s native language I`m sure brainstorm will follow, but first we got to perfect other stuff.
I remember a few years back when Orkut (goggle`s social network) was launched it didn`t take long till the most spoken language was other than english and the english speakers were moaning about it so instead of stop complaining most users just moved to some other social network (maybe hiding behind rocks), BTW the same could happen regarding chinese speakers. they can have and probably soon will have more Net users than any other country and I sure prefer to get stuff translated. internet is changing and it changes fast.
I agree that now we got better stuff to worry about and fixing it will be easier if we keep it simple but the translation is definitely a must as we move forward.

What about if Brainstorm would use "bablefish" (the one from hitch-hikers guide to galaxy after which the one from yahoo.com got its name), so I could write in any other language and still post in English (automated translation)
This would not be possible for my language (Almost all Slovenians speak English and Slovene is quite hard for good translation by AI), but it should be done for the "UN" languages.

I'd really like to see that happend but it will need lots of work to translate and there is a lot of work to do with duplicates in just one language. So, as long as the "duplicates" and "I report a bug as a feature request" problems are not solved in english, we'd better keep that language as the only one and rely on people skills to use babelfish themselves ;).
(Eldmannen, You speak english as your native language, or found the time to learn it (as I did) but you must understand that other languages are worth the english and you can't force anyone to learn another language just because you think it's the universal one, for a long time latin was THE language, french was THE language in royal and noble places, but in each case it changed, so keep cool and respect non-english speaking people instead of telling them to go hide)
