Description
Reflexions make things look nice, Apple started it and since then everybody followed the movement, including Ubuntu.

A simple example: the banner on Ubuntu's main page (www.ubuntu.com for those who don't know yet ;)

Do you see a problem there? look at the size of the reflexion, it's all shrinked, why? When I look at myself on a mirror, at any angle, my image doesn't shrink. I think I saw that on the xubuntu usplash screen too.

So unless you want to make Ubuntu look ugly from the start, I think you should ask the artist(s) to fix it.

Tell me if I have to file a bug for this.

Looks like Cannonical lacks on designers... Ubuntu sometimes is called the ugliest distro... this shouldn't be like this

The graphics in Ubuntu are perfect. Please let us not ruin the simplicity with non-functional eye-candy. And anyway, the reflections in the ubuntu.com banner are correct for a suitably angled mirror.

If graphics in ubuntu are perfect, why does everyone who i've shown my ubuntu desktop with human theme has said: ''Why don't you change that ugly theme?''

I think everyones opinion should count here. If people don't like the look, its entirely possible

I personally have no issues with the look of ubuntu (I would prefer a more aero-kinda look though.
