Related to: Nothing/Others. Status: New
Description
May be creating a web page featuring / centralizing videos around ubuntu. Could be a good idea. This could encompass :

- tutorials / screencasts (compiz, openoffice, installing ubuntu, installing software...).
- lectures about ubuntu / linux.
- videos from / about ubuntu community.
- ...

There are allready some intersting solutions around, like http://unixtube.com, but may be some solution driven by the active ubuntu community could be a plus.

Thx for these links (so this was indeed a good idea, though already done !!). Is there a way to discard this idea or put it to already done or something ?

http://screencasts.ubuntu.com/ is the best Ubuntu video site - it present only useful clips (not 'How to flip the cube in compiz?', most users won't migrate to Ubuntu because of that, and it doesn't help in the everyday problems a new user encounter while using Ubuntu!). It also supports subtitles which is, in my opinion, its main advantage.

I also want to know how to change idea status (like ga6ri3l asked). How can I change it to implemented, or work in progress? Does it matter if I opened the idea or not?
