I think that frostwire similar to limewire is one of the best p2p file sharing free tools. Now with OPenjdk support o Ubuntu it must be esay to include it.

Yes, more software in the repository is always welcome.
So good idea.

Frostwire is cross-platform so many people have used it in Windows, and when they migrate to Ubuntu, they want to keep on using it.

i disagree.
while it would be good to add another package that convert users are comfortable with, i dont like the idea of frostwire being that application.

forgive me for being elitist, but its networks similar to frostwire (limewire, kazaa, etcetera) that seem to be fueling the RIAA and MPAA machines. while the idea of adding another p2p option to the repos i something i agree with 100%, i dont want anyone to mistake the reason they (potentially) got sued on frost wire being the application that the ubuntu community recommended for p2p.

i know what your thinking, "thats not the reason for the lawsuits" "thats a bad excuse" etcetera. but.. go with me here. there are other options out there, and... i dont know.. it might be better to broaden the horizons of our users.
