A lot of ideas these day are dismissed as: "this is not a priority for ubuntu dev's or this is not developed by ubuntu..."
So why not embed this site in Launchpad, so it could be viewed by at least by other developers on Launchpad.
For example: I want AWN to have also Kubuntu add-ons...
If I propose this idea now I will be sent to Launchpad/AWN project site that I propose this there. Why not just embed the whole site in Launchpad site. I think that is pretty simple task, the easiest way would be to just make an link from Launchpad to Brainstorm. But I think that with PHP the whole Brainstorm site could be embedded, or maybe just latest and most popular ideas.
This would change many ideas from wishful thinking to reality, because now we don't really know who else than Ubuntu developers is visiting this site.
If the site would be embedded onto Launchpad this would mean that at least all that have projects there would see the ideas...
Then there could even be more specified sites for other Launchpad projects...
