Description
This idea can be seen as a long term idea, mostly targets GTK3 and Gnome 3.

Yann Le Coroller, a French designer, has created Grape, a new desktop paradigm with some very interesting features and concepts.

Just to dream a little bit!

Talk about no learning curve with this. Grandma would switch to Linux if this were an option.

This would add a nice amount variety to the window managers. As it is, it seems like Gnome and KDE are just both going for essentially the same basic ideal, with just a few differences in implementation. There is a serious need for something completely new and innovative, to really give people the freedom of choice.

I voted +1 but I think it will be better if gnome3 switch in a "grape mode" when a photo/video gallery is opened.
