Idea #8520: Improve Trash Icon Size

Written by atomicron the 14 May 08 at 04:30. Category: Accessibility. Related project: Nothing/Others. Status: New
Rationale
The trash icon in the bottom panel is too small to allow a user to easily drag a file into it. This is made worse by the fact that the item being dragged to the trash often completely obscures the trash icon forcing the user to spend time guessing where it is.

A possible solution would be to expand the trash icon in size when an item is dragged over it, or make the item being dragged semi-transparent.

-1 it's a mile-wide (and a mile-high), which is a square-mile too big in my books

I think it already does make it semi-transparent.

+1

indeed, if the icon was zoomed when something was dragged close to that area, it would be cool!
