Rationale
Last time I updated my ubuntu installation using the update manager, my sound stopped working. So, as the title says, I would like to see some easy manageble way to list and uninstall installed updates
I also have same problem in the past.
But the solve of this and similar things in 90 percent:
booting with an old kernel from the grub's list.
Downgrade not needed.
I'm a complete noob to ubuntu. I got the CD in the mail and just installed it and the updates too. I have this same problem, no sound. How/where do I "boot with an old kernel from the grub's list"? That's all German to me.
