Description
I suggest that when a user presses the print screen button they get an option screen asking if they want to take a screenshot (static picture) or screencast (you guessed it, moving pictures).

There is software already to do this called Istanbul. However better software maybe available.

Building better screen capture software into the OS would help promote the OS and the screencasts themselves could be used to help others learn the system and solve any problems.

I am not opposed to including functionality for screencasts in Ubuntu.

But I am opposed to including it in print screen.
I think that print screen should be as simple as possible. It should be very simple. Not complex with lots of options.

Ubuntu definitely needs a good screencast recorder because what we have now just sucks.
