Rationale
One of the most common problems with new Linux users doing a Ubuntu installation is getting Flash working with firefox. This would be made a lot easier if Adobe offered a .deb download but for some reason they don't.
While you can't force Adobe to do anything you can surely use your influence to persuade them to start offering a deb.
I'm not going to get into the flash vs. gnash debate, but Adobe doesn't even need to create a .deb because flashplugin-nonfree is already in the repositories.
But someone could convince Adobe to put an apt-url link on their download page to "apt:flashplugin-nonfree" or "apt://flashplugin-nonfree" or whatever.
It should be easy to convince Adobe (they'll get more Flash users that way) and it would fix one of the problems identified in the now-famous Girlfriend Usability Test.
