Beginning to help with the development of Ubuntu is way to difficult. Please look at the example below how simple it can be.
Oké recently I wanted to start helping with the development of Ubuntu. After (finally) finding the development page, I discovered it was not where I was hoping for. It does contain all the relevant information, but for an newby like me it's just to much at once.
I thinks the current page can be improved a little, to make it easier for us new developers to start helping.

EDIT:
ok, In stead of changing the existing developer guide i'll create a new developer(quick)start page and some related pages. If everyones thinks this is an improvement over the current, than we deactivate it.
If anyone has suggestions, please let me know here. I'll make this weekend an newgroup thread about this one, so we can discuss the best way to make this one happen.
I've twelve year of experience in java and c# but only programmed in c++ in college, so need to refresh my c++ knowledge. This makes me an effective writer for the developerguide (I will run into the same trouble as other beginning linux programmers).
