Description
I just found some very very useful plugins for gimp at http://registry.gimp.org
It would be nice to have an entry in synaptic to install extra plugins for GIMP from there and not only!
This way we could benefit from all new features being developed by the community.

I've read that package requests should be posted to/on launchpad. I can't remember where but I thing it was on another "please add XYZ to repo" suggestion.
You could give it a shot and post a "bug" on launchpad...
