Description
It is quite unprofessional to see a text style boot every file system check. Include this step in the graphical ubuntu bar progression and add an one line information to notice the user why the boot is longer.

I'd be happy just to GET a graphical boot. On my Geforce 8600GTS with widescreen monitor, it never works.

This is implemented in Hardy and allows you to skip the file system check by pressing esc.

How is actual text unprofessional? I would counter by saying the hiding of technical details is itself cowardly.

Ok, unprofessional is perhaps not the best term. Non eye candy is better (if it is english...). You say it is a duplicated idea. How may I delete this one? I do not found.

In response to B-Con, text is both a positive and negative with Linux. I truly believe that ALL text bits like this should be hidden by default with the option to show it (like Ubuntu's "Show Details" option when downloading or installing).
Text confuses newbies and should be avoided wherever possible, but keeping the option to show it readily available is the joy of Linux.
