Description
I like the Ubuntu Mobile and Embedded initiative. I think it would be really cool to have a phone with my favourite os on it :P

I faked some screenshots of how I think Ubmob would be brilliant.
http://www.2shared.com/file/3162217/70eebbb8/ubmob.html

Ubmob should have:

- Applications/places/system menu structure
- Task bar
- WiFi/Bluetooth/IrDA/3G
- SD/USB
- Web browser (Firefox 3), RSS/Podcast reader, email (Evolution), chat (Pidgin), command-line bittorrent, VNC viewer
- Media player (Gstreamer), Nautilus with thumbnailing, Terminal, advanced calculator, notes (not tomboy), baobab
- Full GnomeVFS, gedit, python, pygtk
- It's one repository and update system
- Multi-user support
- NO shutdown, only lock/standby/switch user/hibernate
- Special interaction program for Ubuntu Desktop
- NFS/UpnP for file sharing by default.

Pretty cool mockup, I am not sure anyone would want GIMP on a PDA or cellphone though. ;)

I would want RSS, e-mail and online radio.

As a user Ubuntu for the last two years +, I can state with a certain degree of confidence that Ubuntu is no more just a Linux distro. Its really becoming an eco-system of its own. And the obvious place to expand is the Mobile/ Smartphone world.

@Eldmannen : Just becouse other mbile OS'es don't do photoshop on a mobile phone, I think there's plenty of reason to port it to the Ubuntu Mobile in my dreams, though. Many mobile devices ship with a camera nowadays, and it would be cool to do red eye removal/GIMP's cool effects/stuff like that mere seconds after you snapped the pic.

The pic is not reacheable. Could you upload it to other site, please?
