Rationale
Be able to make a "neutral" right-click on Nautilus when the user use the list mode to view his files. Actually, when the user is in the list mode, he can't have the menu item like "Create a folder" and the others...
Sorry for the bad English, i hope you'll understand my idea.

+1 one for this. This happens when your in list mode and the amount of files you have takes all the window space. so when you right click it gives you context menu for the file you have selected (because there's no empty space you can right click to get normal context menu), so if you want to create a folder you have to click on File -> Create new folder.
