Description
Hello,
by default, when we install a soft with the terminal, this is not show in history of Synaptic, but i think go to the log for check history is not user-friendly...
So i propose to integrate in synaptic all history of apt-get / aptitude in synaptic.
bye

I don't look at my software history unless I have a problem, but this is a VERY good idea on those occasions when you DO have to look back at the history. 1 up for you

Yes, it took me quite some time to find the log of apt.

I dislike the phrasing of the suggestion, but overall like the concept: all installation managers should use a common log file. This logfile should not contain duplicate information - if synaptic invokes apt-get to install packages, it should be logging very little, as apt-get is going to be logging most of the necessary details.
Furthermore, if multiple processes will be writing to the same log file, and active at the same time, then they should put a mutex block around the log file. (In my opinion, apt-get itself should be doing some things in parallel, thus requiring the mutex block for the log file.)
Or, another way of putting this, Synaptic having its own log file, which only it uses, when it's not the only installation manager, is a major bug.

+1
There should be a unified log file.
