Rationale
I didn't have the chance yet to personally test it, but Mandriva at least addressed the problem of the "missing sync" between most mobile devices (WM 6/6/6.1, Nokia) on the one hand and most Linux apps on the other in their 2008.1 release.
So if it is worth anything, please include this sync tool-setup with hardy. It would help many people I know that only keep an XP copy for syncing purposes. It also would help to promote Ubuntu in general. Answering "yes" to the question of "Am I able to sync my cell/PDA with Ubuntu" is especially important if you want to convince with business users to give Ubuntu a try!
