Description
UPDATE ! Please read: jaolt does support almost every auction platform and is NOT only focussed on ebay. !
If you do not like ebay, please suggest another platform to integrate, instead of voting down. Thank you very much :)

The Java Auction Organisation and Listing Tool ("jaolt") allows the users to create and organize their auctions for eBay and Auvito (more to come) offline as well as list the created auctions without using a website.
After the auction is created offline you could send it to Ebay or Auvito whenever you want.

eBay can go suck it.

Every other auction platform could be integrated!

Suggest one instead, please. This is NOT about Ebay.

I am currently working on the integration into the repos. But not very actively.

This will be changed in the near future.

Here in AUS, ebay are forcing us to use paypal. Because they make extra profit out of it.

And ebay owns paypal, and guess what? Paypal is the worst kind of money handler there is, they are so incredibly dodgy. They charged my mate $1000, because someone sent him $500 with illegal credit card. How that works, I dunno, but ebay should suck it. We HAVE to encourage competition, so ebay stop acting like a-holes.

In fact, the other day, for me to extract MY money from paypal, I was told there was a bug in the system, and the only way for me to get my money would be to upgrade the account. Seriously, that is dodgy!

I totally agree to your comment regarding Ebay and Paypal. It is the same problem in Germany.I really do NOT want to support them.

!! jaolt is NOT a special program for Ebay !!

*Any* other auction platform could be integrated ! And Auvito is already integrated!

I gave your idea a +1, because your idea does not stay in the opposite of my idea.

Please give informations of other platforms, you want to have integrated, to the programmer of jaolt. Thank you very much!

People may not like ebay but there is no reason to not include it in the repos. In the mean time there is a deb here http://code.google.com/p/jaolt/

Please use the procedures described at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDevelopment/NewPackages for requesting and creating new packages for inclusion in the repositories.
