However, I have my doubts this is a good idea *at all* since there a as many Linux/Ubuntu resources as the internet is wide. Ans it is *very* wide. Once you select the lucky onces to be represented in a standard installation then will come the allegations from other sites *not* chosen.

This is kind of similar to what Microsoft does when they install their internet browser as default so that the valued user can browse the internet in order to find the best browsers available and then chose for himself. You know what comes from that policy.

So how about a ubuntu.com site that randomize 10(?) links each day, anyone can add there link to the list (after someone checks it, no porn links plz :) )

one con with the size of ubuntu is that theres also huge abbount of crap/outdated/spam webpages out there so finding the sweet things isn't that easy, especialy if you don't already know whats out there.]]> Sat, 05 Apr 2008 03:02:36 +0000
