It would be nice to have an interactive webpage as the background, like google calendar,igoogle, reddit, digg, ...etc

At least, I'd like a way to embed Firefox in the desktop --wiuthout toolbars (chrome)-- so I can see online content from a dynamic site every time I start Ubuntu.
I'm suggesting this as an idea.

Not something that should be integrated into ubuntu. Maybe a 3rd part app.
