Description
in my feisty setup I have the Remote Desktop preferences but I could not figure out how to connect to my mums xubuntu gutsy installation. Has xubuntu even a remote desktop thin included? I could not find settings for it. I tried to install freeNX but somehow I failed miserably.

I would like to see a Remote Desktop/VNC solution with uses little bandwidth and works the same/in similar way in all ubuntu derivates

Since Hardy we have Vinagre as a Remote Desktop Viewer, which can connect to any other Ubuntu machine.
