Idea #5948: IPTables control from desktop

bug This idea is a duplicate of Idea #22: GUI for ufw (Uncomplicated Firewall).
Written by alexantao the 28 Mar 08 at 18:50. Category: Internet & Networking. Related project: Nothing/Others. Status: New
Rationale
There could be an systray icon to control IPTables.

It should indicate wheather the IPTables is on/off (on=filters active, off=no filtering).

Clicking on it we could enable or disable the rules. And
there could have an windows for managing the iptables rules like fwbuilder.

I think you're looking for firestarter

Firestarter GUI is very very simplicist.
I get very confused with its configuration, because my vision is of network like. FWbuilder is perfect, but it is only a GUI, does not have an actice control like Firestarter...
