Description
I'm the webmaster and the mantainer of this web-service.
http://www.trtsys.com

It can do a lot of interesting things and i was thinking that a complete integration with Ubuntu can be a good idea.

Shortly it can:
-manage private document online
-upload until 34MB for each file
-share these private documents with other users
-create well-formatted documents with a word-like online application
-register post-it
-send formatted documents and post it to other user
-a friend list
-search engine for other users
-future system of messaging between registered user (like e-mails but internal to the system)

Tecnical web-service:
-a linker used to download every type of file on the web

I can give the source of the entire system (it's not a prebuildt cms i've built on my own with a friend), all the information that you need, modification to the web site and support.

I'd really like a complete integration with Ubuntu because i think it can be so, so useful.

Thanks for the time you spent reading this idea and excuse me for my bad english (i'm italian).

Sniz

Edit:
The system is Open-Source and you can find the source here: http://www.trtsys.com/reav_resources/trt-source-30.zip

Since you're own the site, and you post about it, this can be thought of by some as spam.

The website is in Italian, so its not much use for people.

Translate it to English, and release the source code under the GPL, then we can talk.

Hm. +/- 0 for now, since I'm not completely sure what it is. xD However, it's reminding me a lot of things like eyeOS, a web desktop kind of thing. In that case, Gnome is already working on something like that I believe.

-1.

Google docs exists already and deals with documents both private and public which also allows for sharing of documents. Additionally, with the use of Google Talk, you've now got a built-in 'friends list'.

Complete integration with Ubuntu would be unfair to other sites as well. What if someone else created a new webapp and wanted complete integration?

I think it' s very useful if people have to share some files because it support all tipe of files ( from images to music, video and so more). I've tryed it and i really liked it. Have you tryed it?

@ Eldmannen

Now the project is open-source. Here you can find that.
http://www.trtsys.com/reav_resources/trt-source-30.zip
It is mostly translated to english. Some images are missing.
thanks for your advices!

now we can talk :) ?

@ neon, Endperform
i don't wish an integration ONLY for me and myself. I posted this idea to help improving ubuntu. I haven't any problems to public the source-code and to put it under a GPL license.
I've it only because it's not my personal interest but only i want to help ubuntu.

@ il matt, anglo
thanks a lot
